The idea behind Spiral Path Farm CSA is to provide our members with fresh, organic produce, while giving our farm a committed income and a direct connection between the farm and our members. We'd like our members to be able to learn about local produce, farming, and the farm family. The Brownback family and our excellent farm crew do all the work necessary to plant, grow, harvest, wash and deliver the produce. In return for the purchase of a season membership, each member receives a weekly share of the farm's harvest and a weekly newsletter. You'll enjoy healthy, in-season organic vegetables, melons, berries, and herbs fresh from the farm, without all the work.
At Spiral Path Farm, we honor the natural harvest cycles, giving you a wide variety of produce during their natural growing seasons.
We've included a harvest chart on the web site to give you the approximate harvest times, yield and share quantities. Spiral Path Farm uses approximations because the farm is a living system, sustained by sun and earth. We employ irrigation methods, but sometimes circumstances beyond our control, such as hail damage or severe temperatures, may cause a partial or total crop failure. When you decide to become involved in a CSA, you may experience the ups and downs of the land.
