Mike Brownback Co-Owner and grower here since 1978. Father of 3, Arias-Will-Lucas, "Pop" to Ivory, Khaya, Jonas, and Isla. Current farm duties include: general farm manager, composting and vermicompost operations, farm fertility systems master seeding schedule, organic certification, tractor work, mentoring next generation farmers. In his spare time, Mike enjoys building projects using recycled old wood and working with stone.
Terra Brownback Co-Owner and farmer here since 1978. Mother of 3: Arias, Will, and Lucas. "Nana" to three grandchildren: Ivory, Khaya, Jonas, and Isla. Current farm duties include: mentoring the next generation of transplant growers at the farm, keeping track of the farm financials, doing whatever it takes to keep the farm going. Terra loves gardening and plants of all sorts, especially flowers. Other interests include: herbal medicine and natural healing.
Will Brownback married to Deirdre Brownback for 10 years and has 3 children: Khaya, Jonas, and Isla. Will was born and raised on the farm, has a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and returned to the farm in 2009. Current farm duties include: Farm Fields Manager, wholesale organic produce sales, packinghouse labor management, field and greenhouse seeding and growing, as well as soil health and fertility. In his free time, Will enjoys playing with his children, hiking, running, and reading.
Lucas Brownback born and raised on the farm, has been working at Spiral Path full-time since 2007. Current farm duties include: CSA Manger, Farm Markets Manager, Transplant Greenhouse Grower, and the farm's PR for the newsletters, website, and social media. In his spare time, "Chef Lucado" likes to cook, can, and preserve REAL food. Hobbies include: kayaking, biking, and eating.
Gene Reisinger has been with us since April 2000. 15 years of service here at the farm! Gene is our main tractor operator and handles many of the farm's irrigation and plumbing. Gene is a loving father of 7!
Morris Toomey has been a truck driver at Spiral Path Farm since June 2003. He delivers our wholesale produce to Wegmans and was a previous CSA delivery driver. Morris also drives school bus for the local West Perry School District. He and his wife Linda have been married for 29 years. Morris enjoys hunting, making wood crafts, spending time with his family, and raising deer.
Mark Adair has worked on the farm since February 2007. He is our farm mechanic and tractor operator. When he is not working at Spiral Path, he is working on his own farm at home. His hobbies include hunting and fishing.
Stef Gingrich is our Office Manager and has been with the Farm since 2006. Her tasks include membership accounts, payroll, bills, supply ordering and much more. She and her husband have 3 daughters.
Brian Pierce is our Packinghouse manager. His duties include: receiving produce from the fields, washing, grading, packing, and shipping all of our produce. He is also our Food Safety coordinator and manages our packhouse employees. Brian and his wife, Jamie are the proud parents of 3. He is a local 2002 graduate from West Perry and enjoys the outoors. His hobbies and interest include playing with his kids, hunting, and working on cars.
Johanna Carolus has been a greenhouse grower with the farm since April 2013. She is a Seattle native that moved back east to be closer to her family and fell in love with being a grower here at Spiral Path Farm. She has a 4 year old daughter, Salice, that is the light of her life. Johanna enjoys cooking, animals, and spending time with her family.
Alisha Clouser is our lead packer who started working here in 1999. She is pictured beside her husband, "Fish," whom she met right working here on the farm! They still work side by side to this day. She is the proud mother of 5. Alisha is one of our most valued employees and was here when the CSA pack only took 2 people!
Ken Stutzman has been a CSA delivery driver for 3 years. He is out on the road on our CSA trucks 4 days a week delivering and collecting our share boxes. Ken and his wife Mary have been married for 18 years and have 3 children together. Ken also runs a deer breeding business from home called Ridge Runner Whitetails. In his spare time, Ken enjoys fishing and spending time with his children.
Linda Castaneda has been working in the pack house since September 2013. Linda is a tremendous grader and packer of all produce. She and her husband, Edgar, have been married for 10 years and have an 8 year old daughter and one on the way!
